Long-Dong Rock Climbing

Long-Dong rock climbing site is probably the best in Taiwan. If you are an outdoor enthusiasts. Don't miss paying a visit to Long-Dong. We will drive you there from Taipei for half day fun and you can see the north coast of Taiwan on the ride. All equipment needed is provided.

Long-Dong rock climbing area are cliffs stretching along seacoast for almost 2 kilometers. There are 500+ climbing routes inside this area from easy to very hard. It has beautiful sights of ocean and cliffs itself.

Morning session (08:00~12:00)
06:40 pick up at Xinpu station exit No.2.
08:00 park at Long-Dong entrance.
08:10 gear up. warm up. 15 min. walk to the climbing wall.
08:40 tutorial.
09:00 practice on short routes.
10:20 watch the method of lead climbing.
10:40 climb a route around 20 meter high.
12:00 leave Long-Dong.
13:00 back to Xinpu station

Afternoon session (13:00~17:00)
11:40 pick up at Xinpu station exit No.2.
13:00 park at Long-Dong entrance.
13:40 tutorial.
14:00 practice on short routes.
15:20 watch the method of lead climbing.
15:40 climb a route around 20 meter high.
17:00 leave Long-Dong.
18:00 back to Xinpu station

06:40 am (morning session) or 11:40 am (afternoon session) pick up at the Taipei MRT Xinpu Station Exit No.2. It's in front of the Forward Hotel.

Please don't be late, the guides will leave you after 10 minutes waiting. And no refund are due.

Take the MRT blue line to Xinpu station, then go to the Exit No.2.

Or you can hire a taxi to Forward Hotel (板橋馥華飯店).

Our guides will meet you there by the road.

1. This price is for small group, including pick-up and drop-off at Taipei and more inclusions. max 10 people, min. 2 people.
2. The guides will only wait you for 10 minutes at most, don't be late at the pick-up point.
3. This is a half day trip, please fill out trip name followed by (morning session) or (afternoon session) in the application form. You don't need to fill out height and weight when booking a rock climbing trip.
4. Rock climbing trip will be canceled in a rainy day, we will inform you as early as possible. Full refund are due.
5. To avoid damage to your watch, ring, necklace etc., take off those things before climbing. Empty your pockets before climbing to avoid falling something on somebody.
6. Bring your own drinking water for half day, and a back pack.
7. Wear something easy to move, better cover your elbows and knees, do not wear jeans.
8. We will inform you the cell phone number and the name of the guide leader 3 days prior. But if you don't have a local sim card, just be sure to show up at the meeting point. Our guides will find you. Or, if you want to, you can offer us your FB.
9. Trim your nails before activity. They may snap.
10. All safety instructions given by our guides must be adhered to or you will be removed from the group for the safety of yourself and others.
11. Our guides reserve the right to alter the itinerary.
12. The minimum number of participants is 2.
