Lu-Pi River Tracing in Taiwan

Lu-Pi creek has very beautiful and super clean water due to the rocks form the canyon are very tough. There are many pools to swim through and many small drops with or without water to climb up. Lu-Pi river tracing is really a very good one having much fun. This trip end up with a 50 meters high waterfall named JinYue waterfall.

The highest water jump in this trip is around 6 meters high (optional).

And a must-try big slide from top of a 5 meters high waterfall (optional).
But please note, this slide is not available every time, when water level is higher than normal, the pool in the bottom become very dangerous.

The distance to Lu-Pi creek is a little longer than our other trips.
It takes 2 - 2.5 hours to drive to there from Taipei.

06:40 (weekdays) pick up at Taipei MRT Xinpu station exit No.2
07:40 take a break and buy some supplies at a 7-11 in the middle.
09:00 Nan-Ao train station
09:20 park near by the start, gear up, tutorial
10:00 start river tracing
shower / climb / jump / swim
12:00 visit Jin-Yue waterfall
12:30 Lunch by the river side
13:30 walk down stream
drift / jump / slide
15:00 back to the park, changing
15:40 drive home
18:40 back to Xinpu station

06:25am (in weekends) or 06:40am (in weekdays) pick up at the Taipei MRT Xinpu Station Exit No.2. It's in front of the Forward Hotel.

Please don't be late, the guides will leave you after 10 minutes waiting. And no refund are due.

Take the MRT blue line to Xinpu station, then go to the Exit No.2.

Or you can hire a taxi to Forward Hotel (板橋馥華飯店).

Our guides will meet you there by the road.

1. This price is for small group, including pick-up and drop-off at Taipei and more inclusions. max 10 people, min. 2 people.
2. We will inform you the cell phone number and the name of the guide leader 3 days prior. But if you don't have a local sim card, just be sure to show up at the meeting point. Our guides will find you. Or, if you want to, you can offer us your FB.
3. Dress as casual as you can. Slippers and sandals are recommended. What you dressed will not go into the water with you, don't worry.
4. We suggest that you wear on your swimming costume inside before activity.
5. Bring a bottle of water(600-1000 ml), your swimming costume, swimming goggles (not necessary), some snacks (not necessary), a towel (not necessary), a plastic bag for your wet swimming costume after activity. We will provide you lunch. You will get one backpack to carry stuffs into the river.
6. Do not bring electronic devices into the river, everything will get wet during the activity. Our guides will bring camera and picturing for you.
7. If you're wearing glasses or contact lenses, we recommend you to bring a spare pair.
8. Do not bring anything valuable into the river, you may lose them.
9. Trim your nails before activity. They may snap.
10. All safety instructions given by our guides must be adhered to or you will be removed from the group for the safety of yourself and others.
11. The guides will only wait for you for 10 minutes at most, don't be late at the pick-up point.
12. Our guides reserve the right to alter the itinerary.
13. The minimum number of participants is 2.
14. Trips will still be carried out in a moderate rainy day.
15. It takes 2 hours to drive to Lu-Pi creek, we recommend you use the restroom in the MRT station before pick-up.
